FUN FACTS: Allosaurus is one of the best known dinosaurs and was the apex predator of its domain preying on all species. Specimens range between 7.5 and 9.7 metres in length. It possessed strong arms for holding prey and could open its mouth extremely wide to aid with attack. It was for many years known by the name of Antrodemus.
